Particulary influenced by brian enos’ axial thinking, this project aims to break free from binary oppositions within typography, avoiding reinforcement of traditional structures. The outcome is a typographic toolkit promoting inclusivity, flexibility, and hybridity.
The graphic elements defining the ends of each axis are based on shapes that were intuitively created by finding better words to describe typography. After creating letterforms out of these shapes, i deconstructed them again to derive the shapes for the stencils.
